Genuinely one of the most special places we've ever stayed. The Garden Suite is stunning, and lying in the copper bath looking out at the Cotswolds hills is something I'll remember for years. Margaret and David are the perfect hosts: welcoming, knowledgeable, and they leave you completely to your own devices.

We stayed for our 10th anniversary and it was perfect. The Oak Room has such character: the beams, the roll-top bath, the view over the garden. Breakfast was extraordinary: everything local, everything fresh. We've already booked to come back.

The walking guide they provided led us to a route we'd never have found on our own. Three days of stunning Cotswolds walking, followed by the most comfortable beds and a perfect cooked breakfast. The welcome hamper on arrival was a wonderful touch.
